Alaska Silver Corp.
Alaska Silver is a junior exploration company focused on the discovery and development of high-grade silver, gold, and critical metals assets within one of North America’s high-grade silver and critical minerals districts. Its flagship Illinois Creek (IC) Project, located in western Alaska, is a contiguous, 100%-owned land package covering 80,895 acres (126.4 square miles or 32,337 hectares).
Importantly, Illinois Creek is a carbonate replacement deposit (CRD) district, a deposit type known for hosting large, high-grade polymetallic mineral systems.
The project is anchored by two resource-stage mineralized zones separated by 8 km of highly prospective exploration ground. At one end is the Waterpump Creek zone, which hosts high-grade silver mineralization with an Inferred Mineral Resource of 75 Moz AgEq at an average grade of 279 g/t silver, 11.28% zinc, and 9.87% lead. This zone remains open to the north and south and is associated with the historic Illinois Creek mine.
At the western end lies the past-producing Illinois Creek mine, which ceased operations due to low metal prices. The site still hosts significant remaining resources, including Indicated Mineral Resources of 260,000 ounces of gold at 0.92 g/t Au and 8.3 Moz of silver at 29.72 g/t Ag, as well as Inferred Mineral Resources of 290,000 ounces of gold at 0.84 g/t Au and 10.4 Moz of silver at 30.11 g/t Ag.
The IC Project is located approximately 38 kilometers from the Yukon River, a key transportation corridor in the region. Headquartered in Alaska and Arizona, Alaska Silver is led by a team with a proven track record of large-scale mineral discoveries.
Alaska Silver hosts two carbonate replacement–type deposits. The first is the high-grade silver–lead–zinc–gallium Waterpump Creek deposit, which contains Inferred Mineral Resources of 2.38 million tonnes grading 980 g/t AgEq, for a total of 75 Moz AgEq, including 21.4 Moz of silver.
The second is the past-producing, heap-leach Illinois Creek deposit, which hosts Indicated Mineral Resources of 260,000 ounces of gold at 0.92 g/t Au and 8.3 Moz of silver at 29.7 g/t Ag, along with Inferred Mineral Resources of 290,000 ounces of gold at 0.84 g/t Au and 10.4 Moz of silver at 30.1 g/t Ag.
